It is now an MOT failure if your headlights are faded due to the light not being emitted efficiently.
Headlight restoration is achieved by wet sanding the damaged UV layer off and machine polishing the lights back to a clear finish.
Once all the polishing is finished and the lights are back to being as clear as the day they were out the factory.
Then they are then re-sealed with a UV protection.
This process is a lot cheaper than replacing expensive headlight units
